Christmas

Well i just have to say that i am the happiest woman alive!!!  I have the best family, husband and kids that anyone could ever ask for.  We had a tough year finacially and the kids didnt get much for christmas but they were so happy with what they got.  They are so fun to watch on christmas morning.  They woke us up at 6 this year which is a first in our house.  We usually just get up whenever they wake up.  This was Madisons first year that she could acutally watch her sisters and see what was going on.  So she opened a few presents and then seen that Kenedi had found candy in her stocking (Madison is a candy freak)  and then she was done with presents she was on the hunt for candy.  Then she didnt want to open her presents she wanted mine.  We had a good day and enjoyed being home with our kids all day.  Gerald has worked the last 2 christmas's so it was good to have him home with us.  We love you daddy!!!

We had fun going to Gerald's mom's party and my mom's.  The kids enjoy going and playing with their cousins.  We are very thankful for my parents Gerald's mom and Milo and his brother and sisters for all the food storage that was given to us.  We never expected it and it was really awesome and thoughtful we are very grateful for our families and want to thank everyone for everything and for all the help that you have given to our family through out the year.  We wouldnt have made it through the year if it wasnt for our families.    Thank you everyone!!!

Janica

I don't get on this much, for the most part it's Janica's page; But she's dedicated something on here to all of us. So most of you know how she feels about her family but little about how we feel about her. Janica is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me and is the best mother I think any child could ask for. She is the most caring, giving and unselfish person I know. She often goes out of her way or goes without to make sure everybody is happy. She is the world to our daughters and to me and we would surely be lost without her. I hope she knows just how much we all love her.

P.S. I'm glad I was able to guess your password to make this post possible!

Rock Creek Lights

We try every year to make it up to the lights at rock creek because its so pretty. Every year there is something new and the kids just love it. They also have a camel that they get to feed carrots to. I never realized how huge they are until i actually saw it for the first time. Its so funny to watch the kids feed it cause it sticks its tongue out and kinda wraps it around their fingers to grab it. The pictures didn't really turn out very good but i wanted to share some that we did get that weren't to bad.

BUILD A BEAR

My mom, my sister and I took Kenedi to build a bear for her birthday and boy was it fun. Kenedi or I had never been there so it was a new experience for both of us. We never told her about it so it was a surprise and i don't think she quit knew what to think. She picked out 2 moose's, a boy one and a girl one. The boy one she named Badger and the girl one is named Holly. She had so much fun but there was lots of decisions to be made.

To many things to choose from.

Getting them stuffed.Rubbing the heart on her knee so her moose's can run fast.

Rubbing it on her nose so they can smell good.
Rubbing it on her funny bone so that they can be funny.
Giving them bath's.
The finished product and a very proud little girl.
We had a very fun day and i want to thank my mom and Hailey for taking her to do this and spending the day with us we had so much fun.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENEDI

My little girl is now 5.  She has grown up so much that it makes me sad.  I still remember the day she was born.  So little and loveable.  Well she wasnt really little 9Lbs 13 oz.  But she was still a little bundle of joy.  Now she is always on the go and most of the time to busy for mom.  Every once in a while she needs some loves but not like she used to.  She is learning to be very sassy but i guess maybe its a girl thing.  But she still to young to be, shes my baby girl.  She had so much fun at her party and got everything she wanted and then some.  Now i dont know what to get her for christmas. Here is her cake that they spelled her name wrong on.  I was so mad but she said it was ok because she really liked the cake and we didnt really have time to order a new one or have it fixed.  We also called her birthday into the  radio station and she won the Dairy Queen ice cream cake.

We got this game at the dollar store.  It was called pin the tiara on the princess.  It was cute to watch them.  It was a very hectic evening with all her friends there but i think that she had alot of fun.  Thanks everyone for all the wonderful gifts and for being a part of her 5th birthday!!

Mess Maker

I felt bad for leaving Madison out of the last couple post.  She is now the offical biggest mess maker in our house.   She likes to get into everything that she knows she isnt suppose to.  Gerald put locks on all the kitchen cupboards after she broke a glass bread pan in her lap so she goes to the silverware drawer and gets a hand full of spoons and a hand full of forks and they go all over the floor.  By the time you get them picked up she has another hand full and does it again.  She likes to pull everyones clothes out of their drawers and throw them all over. (we have all learned to keep our bedroom doors closed)  She likes to pull all the movies out and scatter her diapers all over the living room floor. (clean ones)  She is very good at changing the channel when your watching your favorite show and its in the best part of the show.  Even though she is a little stinker we love her to death!!!  She gives me a pretty good work out every day.

Cookes Cookies

I am late on getting this posted but oh well.  About a month ago we invited my friend Lacie over and her kids to make sugar cookies.  I gave them each a ball of dough and let them roll it out themselves and cut out their own and decorate them by themselves.  They all had alot of fun and did a good job.

Poor Maddy was left out again.  I am going to have to start thinking of things that she can do too.  She had fun picking on them all trying to steal a cookie here and there.

Rainbow

I just wanted to share these pictures i thought they were really pretty.  They are taken out our back door after a rain storm about a month ago.

The many ways to have a nap

I just have to say i have some of the craziest sleepers in my house. Kenedi talks in her sleep and is not a good bed partner she is all over the place and moves non stop I don't know how she even gets any sleep. I'm sure glad my kids love their own beds. We have been finding Madison in some of the craziest positions having a nap. One day i found her laying in the middle of the kitchen floor sleeping. That just does not sound very comfy to me. Gerald was babysitting the other day and this is how she was having a nap. Crazy crazy kids!

I went in and checked on her one day during nap time and found her like this. Sometimes she has her arm or a leg stuck in the bar standing straight up in air in between the wall and the bar. I guess as long as she is comfy that's all that matters.

Halloween

MONKEY MADDY
LITTLE MISS WITCH KENEDI
Halloween was definitely different this year. Madison did not like it one bit. She screamed at just about every costume and was scared to death most the night. We went trick or treating by Gerald's moms house so he ended up staying there with Madison while i took Kenedi. Kenedi had so much fun. The skirt on her witch dress lights up and she thought it was the neatest thing. She got lots of candy and shared it all with her sister who was to scared to go. Hopefully next year Madison wont be so scared i felt so bad for her.

Pippi Longstocking

Today Kenedi had her Halloween party at school. She is actually going to be a witch but i didn't want her to wear her costume to school and it get ruined so we dressed her up as pippi longstocking. I thought she looked so cute. Gerald says she looks more like the girl from the Wendy's commercial which she kinda does but oh well.
She had lots of fun at her party. When Gerald picked her up from school she took her hair out in the truck because she said that it looked stupid. She is so funny and always keeps us laughing.

Carving Pumpkins

Tonight we carved our pumpkins finally. The girls were very excited because last year we just painted them. They each picked out what they wanted on theirs. Gerald's was very cool. He put it over my lamp to light it up. (Darn guy)
I didn't get a picture of Nikki's finished but it says BOO on it. It turned out really cute she did a good job.
Kenedi got stuck with me carving hers out because i don't think that i trust her with a knife just yet. Maybe a few more years. I don't do the best job but i tried my hardest to do what she wanted. She was happy with it.
Madison didn't get to help she she stood up there and had fun watching us. She sure is a cutie.

SNOW

Well little did we know that the day after we cleaned the yard up for winter we would get snow in Oct. Kenedi was so sad to put her bike away but was even happier to play in the snow. She played out there for 3 hours until i made her come in the house. Madison liked it but she got really mad because it was to deep and she couldn't walk in it.
These pictures were taken earlier in the day when the snow wasn't as deep. It snowed all day non stop and into the night.
This is out my back door. I had a hard time getting it open because it was so deep.

Getting ready for winter

On Friday Oct 10Th we got the yard all ready for winter. We got all the bikes put in the shed, all the toys put away, the boat all cleaned out, and all the water blown out of the sprinklers. Kenedi was very bummed to have to put her bike away so we left her scooter out. She loves being outside. She is also a very good helper she threw all the life jackets and stuff out of the boat for us.

Gerald looks very enthused. (Hes blowing the sprinklers out.)
This is our one and only pumpkin that grew in our garden. We might have had more if the cows didn't bust through the fence and eat our garden at the beginning of the summer but oh well. We got one!!

Gerald

I just wanted to take the time to let my husband know that he is the greatest man there ever was. He is the greatest dad to the 3 most beautiful girls in the whole world and the greatest husband to me. I am so thankful for everything that he does for our family. I am also very thankful that i get the chance to stay home and raise our girls because of him. Thank you so much for everything that you do for us!!
The girls love playing with dad no matter what it is. They even got him to play ponies with them one night.
They also love having little sleep overs in the living room with him watching movies and eating popcorn.
Thanks for being the greatest and i just want you to know that I LOVE YOU with all my heart and so do your girls.

Getting to big

My my where does the time go. My little girls are growing up so fast. Madison loves to help me do laundry. She likes me to set the clothes on the dryer door so that she can push them in. The other night i took the clothes out of the dryer and came back to put the ones out of the washer into the dryer and found a little girl in my dryer. She was so proud of herself and was very mad at me when i took her out. Silly girl.
Kenedi is going to be 5 in 2 months. Makes me so sad. She has grown up so much. She started taking tumbling last week and her teacher says she is a very powerful little girl so hopefully she will go far in it. She has so much energy she needs something to work some of it off.
Nikki is in this teenager stage of taking pictures of themselves. Crazy kids. She starting tumbling also. This is her 4Th year and she seems to really enjoy it. She is learning to do all kids of things. She was only 7 when Gerald and I got married and is now 12. It makes me sad to see all my girls getting big.
