Pajama Day

Yesterday at Kenedi's school was pajama day.  They get to wear their favorite jammies and take their favorite stuffed animal.  So she decided to take her build a bear moose's Holly and Mr Moose and since it was jammie day they had to wear their jammie's too.  She had so much fun at school, they ate pancakes and had chocolate milk and then they watched a movie and had popcorn.  When i picked her up from school that day i asked her what she learned at school and she said nothing mom and it was soooo fun.  Gotta love jammie day!!!

Not so friendly visitor

So yesterday afternoon right after the school bus drops all the kids off down our lane I hear this deisel truck with a trailer behind it with cows in it and it stops in front of our house.  Which is weird because we live at the end of a dead end road and you see pretty much the same cars go by every day which isnt many.  So i told Kenedi to come look at the cows and she wanted to go outside to see them so i told her ok just stay in the yard (our yard it completely fenced in).  So she goes outside and i get Maddy up from her nap and take her out there and at the same time our neighbor is telling Kenedi to get in the house.  Well turns out that a cow got lose from the animal clinic which is just across the road and it was a very spooked and not so happy cow.  It sat there behind our house for four hours having a stare down with the owner and the cops.  It was kinda funny to watch.  In the mean time they are waiting for someone to get there to tranquilize it and it runs into the neighbors yard.  After 4 hours of sitting here staring at a cow they got it sleepy and loaded on the trailer we found out that this cow the owner breeds it with PBR bulls and the last two calfs that it had he made $10,000 a peice on.  I think i could sit and stare at my cow that long to if it was making me that kind of money.

Roller Skating

Saturday we got to take the the girls roller skating for their cousin Aubree's birthday party.  The girls love going and of course guess who didnt bring the camera  ME!!!!  So these are the only pictures that we got off Gerald's cell phone of them having cake and ice cream.  We took Kenedi skating for her 3rd birthday and it seems like at least once a year someone is having a birthday party there now.  They have a little room where you can go and have cake and ice cream and open presents and get away for from the crowd and its cheap.  The kids had a fun day skating and playing with their cousins and getting out of the house cause of course the weather is horrible again and it even snowed today!!  Im so ready for summer!!!

NO MORE TRAINING WHEELS

YAY!!! No more training wheels for Kenedi!!  It was a fight to take them off but i knew that she could do it.  She would ride up and down the road here without them even touching the ground so i told her i was taking them off.  So she got mad at me and told me she was never riding her bike again.  Well i made her go out to the road and i helped her take off and that was it i had to chase her down the road and she had the biggest smile on her face.  I couldnt get a good picture of her cause i was trying to take it with my phone and she was going to fast but you can see her.  Yay im so proud of her!!

Dirty Face

So i was just sitting her looking at all my pictures and realized that Maddy has a dirty face in just about every picture.   At first i thought man i am a horrible mom and never wash my kids face.  And then i thought no thats not true i feel like i am always washing her face.  But anyways who care she is still so cute dirty face and all.  I love this picture of her and I.  She insisted this day that i wear her coat so i did.

Today was another beautiful day.  We went to my moms again and helped her with more yard work then came home and mowed our lawn and cleaned up a bit.  Kenedi and Maddy got sunburned and i feel horrible.  I didnt even think to put sunscreen on them but i will know for tomorrow cause it supposed to be nice too.  They are just loving getting out of the house and just running around with out me saying quit running around in the house cause we arent in the house yay!!

Wonderful Day

Today was a wonderful day.  The weather was nice i think it might have even been 70 degree's.  My parents invited us over to roast hot dogs and smores and let the girls ride in the cars and of course we couldnt pass that up.  The girls have so much fun riding in those things.  Maddy even does pretty good driving the one by herself.  It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the kids have fun.  Thanks mom and dad for inviting us over!!

Tired of the snow

I just have to say that i am sooo tired of the snow.  It snowed again 2 days ago and of course now it has been pretty nice so that means a couple more days and its going to snow.  Ugh i sure hope not.  I never say this but i am ready for summer or at least spring.  Kenedi was happy that it snowed so she had to go play in the snow (hopefully for the last time for like 7 months).  Here is her little snow man that she made.  She was so proud of him and i think he just actually melted yesterday.  

Here is my little cutie.  She has grown so much and i am so proud of her.  I am so sad that i have to go and register her for kindergarten next friday.  I am so not ready for her to go i have been dreading the day.  

Hair Cuts

Im a little late getting these posted but here are the pictures of the girl's hair cuts.  They both cut of several inches i think Kenedi's was 7 inches or more.  I cant believe how different they both look now.  So grown up.

Picnic

Ok i am really horrible.  We went for a picnic the day before easter and I left the camera in the truck the whole time.  Yay me!!!!  But we had lots of fun.  We had an easter egg hunt for the kids which is always fun.  They got to roast hot dogs and play in the dirt yay!!  It was really cold and windy but we had lots of fun!!  Here is Gerald and I on the way.

Coloring easter eggs

Last night the girls colored out easter eggs.  Poor Maddy didnt get to help because before we even got started she decided to put one of the color tablets in her mouth and had a very yellow mouth.  Gerald had to dig it out and she was very mad.  So i had to put a picture of her and of course she is mad but cute!!

We are professor's

I got a new cell phone today and was playing around with it and found out that i could do this!!!  It was so funny to see all the different ways you could twist your face around.  We all were laughing so hard.  These were my favorite so i had to share them and im sure my family will thank me for this haha!!

Horrible day

Well not much to say today other then the weather was just horrible.  It was so nice this morning.  It was sunny and warm so we decided to go out and do some yard work and then the sky gets dark and the wind starts blowing and it starts raining!!  GRRR!!!  What a way to ruin the day.  But look on the bright side look at how cute my girls are!!!

It's amazing how fast the kids grow.  These pictures were taken exactly a year apart and i cant believe how the girls have changed in one year.  They all have grown up so much and i cant believe how much Maddy has changed and lost her chubby little cheeks, and Nikki and Kenedi cut their hair off.  We couldn't get a good picture of Maddy so this is the best one that we got.

Do you think her outfit looks a little small?

Maddy has been going through a growth spurt lately im thinking.  I put this outfit on her this morning and noticed it looked a little small.  She definetly isnt gaining any weight but is getting very tall.  She is my little skinny minny.  She is just fitting into a size 18 month pant but as you can tell they are a little high waters.  I guess maybe they will make good capris this summer??  She is such a cutie pie and with her having no binkie she is starting to make more noise.  She really isnt talking much still but she is working on it.  We love you Maddy Moo!!

Slacker

I am just horrible at this stuff.  You would think that where i am a stay at home i could update this darn thing every day but nope thats not the case.  It seems everytime i go to get on the computer one of the girls starts hollering for me of Maddy is sitting on my lap helping me push buttons, or something just comes up.

Well we are all doing well.  The girls are of course very busy with school and tumbling.  I think Nikki is ready for school to be over and Kenedi isnt.  Its funny when your little you just love school and as you grow older you hate it.  We are definatley ready for summer.  The girls are itching to play outside.  We make out if were lucky once a week to play.  Its been so cold the last couple weeks with the wind blowing all day.  

Gerald and I are doing good.  He working on his 6 days on and only has 2 more to go yay!!!  I got some not to good news in the mail the other day JURY DUTY!!!  Not fun but Gerald wrote and neat little letter that will hopefully get me out of it cross your fingers.  Well thats about all thats new with us and my goal is to now try and update this HOPEFULLY every other day at least.
