Pippi Longstocking

Today Kenedi had her Halloween party at school. She is actually going to be a witch but i didn't want her to wear her costume to school and it get ruined so we dressed her up as pippi longstocking. I thought she looked so cute. Gerald says she looks more like the girl from the Wendy's commercial which she kinda does but oh well.
She had lots of fun at her party. When Gerald picked her up from school she took her hair out in the truck because she said that it looked stupid. She is so funny and always keeps us laughing.

Carving Pumpkins

Tonight we carved our pumpkins finally. The girls were very excited because last year we just painted them. They each picked out what they wanted on theirs. Gerald's was very cool. He put it over my lamp to light it up. (Darn guy)
I didn't get a picture of Nikki's finished but it says BOO on it. It turned out really cute she did a good job.
Kenedi got stuck with me carving hers out because i don't think that i trust her with a knife just yet. Maybe a few more years. I don't do the best job but i tried my hardest to do what she wanted. She was happy with it.
Madison didn't get to help she she stood up there and had fun watching us. She sure is a cutie.

SNOW

Well little did we know that the day after we cleaned the yard up for winter we would get snow in Oct. Kenedi was so sad to put her bike away but was even happier to play in the snow. She played out there for 3 hours until i made her come in the house. Madison liked it but she got really mad because it was to deep and she couldn't walk in it.
These pictures were taken earlier in the day when the snow wasn't as deep. It snowed all day non stop and into the night.
This is out my back door. I had a hard time getting it open because it was so deep.

Getting ready for winter

On Friday Oct 10Th we got the yard all ready for winter. We got all the bikes put in the shed, all the toys put away, the boat all cleaned out, and all the water blown out of the sprinklers. Kenedi was very bummed to have to put her bike away so we left her scooter out. She loves being outside. She is also a very good helper she threw all the life jackets and stuff out of the boat for us.

Gerald looks very enthused. (Hes blowing the sprinklers out.)
This is our one and only pumpkin that grew in our garden. We might have had more if the cows didn't bust through the fence and eat our garden at the beginning of the summer but oh well. We got one!!

Gerald

I just wanted to take the time to let my husband know that he is the greatest man there ever was. He is the greatest dad to the 3 most beautiful girls in the whole world and the greatest husband to me. I am so thankful for everything that he does for our family. I am also very thankful that i get the chance to stay home and raise our girls because of him. Thank you so much for everything that you do for us!!
The girls love playing with dad no matter what it is. They even got him to play ponies with them one night.
They also love having little sleep overs in the living room with him watching movies and eating popcorn.
Thanks for being the greatest and i just want you to know that I LOVE YOU with all my heart and so do your girls.
