I finally after 2 years talked Kenedi into playing basketball and let me just say she is awesome!!! The last game they played the final score was 24-12 and Kenedi scored 12 of her teams points!!

She's not an aggresive player but she is really good at making baskets. I love going and watching her play. The games are kinda funny to watch because the girls are just learning but her team is doing so good and learning very fast.

Well instead of trying to catch up everything since Halloween i just want to let everyone know that we are doing very well. We have a great Christmas and the girls got spoiled!!! They all got their own gifts and then for a family gift they got an Xbox 360 with the kinect. They love it we just need to get a few more games to go with it.

The girls had an awesome Halloween and ended up with TONS of candy!!! I was lucky enough to go to both of their parties at school and after those 2 parties i don't think we even needed to go trick or treating. This year Kenedi was a cheetah and Maddy was either a blue fairy or a blue butterfly she kept changing her mind.

Well the girls finally got to go play in the snow today YAY!!! They were so excited. As you can see in the picture there is not much of it but they had fun and made them a cute little snowman. We didn't have and carrots for a nose so they used a dum dum sucker.

Miss Kenedi had her gymnastics's recital in May and she did super awesome!!! She is learning a lot of new things and is doing a great job!!

I helped teach this year also and got to go out with all the kids i must say it was fun. These kids have so much energy how could it not be fun? What a lovely picture of me haha.

Maddy turns 4

My little princess Maddy is now 4 :( Since she is the only one out of her cousin's that has a summer birthday of course we have to do something fun outside!!! So we borrowed this fun blow up water slide from my cousin and the kids had a ball!!!!

She picked out her own cake this year as soon as she seen it in the picture she knew that was the one she wanted. She is a true little princess and i love it!!

The girl's are trying to collect all the barbie movies and Maddy scored 2 for her birthday plus barbies with them that she LOVES!!!

We got her a bike for her birthday and Gerald wanted to wrap it so he ran up to one of the local furniture store's and got a dryer box and wrapped it all up. She was so excited when she finally got it open and seen what was inside but then wanted nothing to do with just wanted to play in the box.

Thanks to all our family and friends who came to her party and made it a special day for our special little girl we love you all!!!!

Lagoon

This summer Gerald's dad had a family reunion at Lagoon and lets just say the kids had a BLAST!!! We went up to their house in Pocatello Thursday night and had dinner let the kids run around and they told childhood stories. Then Friday morning we got up and headed to lagoon. The kids had so much fun as you can tell in the picture Maddy got really worn out and crashed in the middle of the day after this 10 minute nap she was on the go again.

These 3 little girls rode and rode rides non stop!!!

Maddy decided to be brave and go in the spook alley with Gerald so i waited at the end with the camera to capture her face as she came out but i couldn't see her face it was hidden. She didn't like that ride so much.

We all had a good time and it was good to spend time with family.

Girl Scout Camp

This last weekend Kenedi and I got to attend girl scout camp!!! I was so fun to get away and spend some alone time with Kenedi. She is growing and maturing so fast. We had a lot of fun playing in the funyacks, hiking, canoeing, making crafts, singing around the camp fire, and spending time together. I am so glad i was able to go with her and enjoy the weekend but we were both glad to come home and sleep in our own beds and get away from all the mosquito's.

Well once again I have let my blog slip thru my finger's and get behind. It's kinda funny how that happens we get caught up in other things and before you know it its been months. I kinda feel like that is the way life has been lately just slipping away to fast. My girls are growing sooo fast it just seems like yesterday they were tiny little babies and now they are both going to school and dance and gymnastics's. I just want it all to slow down a little bit.

The girls looked so much a like when they were born. Its amazing how fast they change and become their own little person. The top one is Kenedi and the bottom is Maddy.

Mr. Snow man

Today we finally got to play out in the snow since it was 5 degree's and of course the girls loved it!! Gerald i think enjoyed it also. He made a HUGE snow man. When he makes a snow man he goes to the extreme to make it very worth while. The girls thought it was so cool cause mom has never made a snow man that big. Thank goodness for strong daddy's.

Kenedi and Maddy had lots of fun sledding and making snow angels and playing with the little neighbor boy.

Lilly even enjoyed getting out of the house and running around. Holy smokes she ran and ran and ran like crazy i think she will be excited when summer is here.

Today the girls and i had some fun!! Just about every year that i can remember my mom has always made us suckers at Christmas time so now i have to bug her every year when are we going to make suckers!!! Today was the lucky day. My girls love being the taste tester's and this year helped stuff suckers in bags for us and mark their flavors. I think i will have to make it a tradition with my girls to make suckers every year now. After we made suckers and had some lunch my mom and sister and I loaded the girls up and took them to see the new movie Tangled. It was soooo cute!!! Kenedi loved it!!! Maddy i had to take potty about every half hour but i think she still liked it. We might have to take daddy and go see it again.

Hansel and Gretal

This year my little Maddy started ballet class and she absolutely loves it. She was lucky enough to get to perform in Hansel and Gretal which was amazing. We had so many practices and dress rehearsal and the poor girl was getting so grouchy and tired that by the end of the last night of practice she wouldn't even go out and dance i was very worried that when performance time came she would see all the people and not dance but with a lot of bribing with McDonald's and ice cream she went out and danced her little heart out. I was so proud of my little shy girl and she did awesome!!! Isn't she just the cutest little lollipop you ever saw??

She had to have her hair all slicked back in a bun for this which totally sucked because she has such short hair and not a lot of hair. So we used tons of gel and hair spray and it worked pretty good. The poor thing also had to have on eye liner and mascara and i tell you what that's not the easiest thing to put on a 3 year old but we survived.

This is her in the bath after everything was all over with we had to wash her hair 3 times to get all the junk out of it!!!

Snow bunnies

We finally had our first snow fall of the year yay!!!! The girls we sooo excited they just couldn't wait to go out and play in the snow. So we bundled them up and out they went. They had so much fun throwing snow, making snow angels, and just being outside running around instead of couped up in the house. They look so cute all bundled up!!! I just love my little stinkers!!!

Well its official!!! Kenedi had now dedicated herself to be a brownie girl scout for the next year!!! She is super excited and already enjoying everything. She had been bugging me for a while to join and i kind of just shrugged it off so I finally got her signed up and she just absolutely loves it!! She is learning all kinds of new things and having lots of get together's and she just cant wait to sell COOKIES!!!! I am so proud of Kenedi and all her ambition and will to want to do anything and everything. She is growing into such a sweet young lady and i just love my little Kenedi to pieces!!! Keep it up sis!!!!

Shoshone falls

Of course every year we have to make a trip to Shoshone falls and play. When we went this year there wasn't much water going over but its still awesome. The girls went swimming at the lake up there while Gerald and I relaxed. And here is proof again of Maddy not liking her picture taken.

My girls just LOVE the water Maddy not so much but she is getting better. They beg all summer to go swimming and i hate going to the public pool i just don't like them and i just cant bring myself to buy a big pool for our back yard for the fear that one will escape and drown in the pool so my kids are stuck with the sprinklers and our little tiny blue $10 pool for now. I love these pictures of Kenedi jumping in the sprinklers!!

Every year Gerald's work summer party is at this place here in Burley called Harris pond or as Kenedi calls it Herald pond. The kids all just love it there. There is something for them all to do. When we got there this year Kenedi just couldn't hardly contain herself she had to get in the water ASAP!!! This is one of my favorite pictures of her!!!

Its so hard to believe that my baby is 3 years old now. I still remember the day we brought her home it just seems like yesterday. She was so excited for her birthday this year that for the last 3 months she has been telling us every day that it was her birthday and that she wanted a Dora cake. So of course we had to have a Dora party. We decided to have a barbecue with family and friends and let the kids play in the water and have a water balloon fight. She was so excited that it was finally HER birthday. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated with us and made the day special for our little baby girl!!

Swim lesson's

Of course we cant go through the summer with out having to go to swimming lessons. It's Kenedi's favorite part of summer!! She has learned so much this summer. She is treading water in the deep end swimming laps and of course her all time favorite swimming on her back!! I was kind of nervous to put Maddy in because she is terrified of the water but i think it did her some good. She did so much better than i thought she would. We made it through one session and i don't think I am going to get away with out another one Kenedi reminds me daily that she needs to go again.

Well we finally had a nice day today after having days of wind blowing 30 mph, snow, and rain so out the door the girls went. Well after about half an hour the neighbor girl was here playing with Kenedi and Maddy and they kinda got quiet so Nikki and i went to see what was going on. Kenedi and her friend were jumping and this is where Maddy was. She told me "mom its so fun." What happened to my little prissy girl?? (Don't look how horrible my yard looks wow!!!)

I was folding laundry one day and Kenedi came in and asked if she could help. Sure why not so i gave her all the socks to fold. Well this is how she folds socks. How she does it so perfectly is still a mystery to me.

Gymnastics recital

I'm sad to say that the girls are done with gymnastics till September. They both have learned a lot this year and are doing really well. I didn't get good pictures because of course the batteries were dying in the camera and i was fighting with Maddy to sit down the whole time. She is at the stage where sitting down for longer then 2 minutes doesn't happen. Next year she will get to start taking so we will have 3 girls taking gymnastics.

Easter

The girls were so excited the Easter bunny came to our house this year and hid Easter eggs for them. Nikki was with her mom this year so i don't have any pictures of her and these are all i got of Kenedi and Maddy. Easter weather was horrible it snowed and the wind blew so we were stuck in the house but we had fun anyways and watched Alvin and the chipmunks about 5 times!! Love my girls!!!!

My little cheerleader girl!!! Kenedi got the opportunity to be a cheerleader for 6 weeks and she absolutely loved it. She had practice once a week and had a game every Saturday. After the last game they had a big banquet for all the cheerleaders and basketball players where we had dinner and watched a magic show. I really wanted her to play basketball cause she is such a sporty little girl but she was not going for it so here is my little cutie cheerleader!!!

Cauldron Linn

Wow look at me slacking again!!! Its been a very long time since i have posted anything. So here i go. We have been going up to this really neat place called the Cauldron Linn with my parents and the girls just love it. They get to run wild and have lots of fun. My dad goes up there to pan for gold and we go along and have a picnic and just enjoy being outside. The weather was so nice all 3 times that we went compared to what we have been getting (snow in may!!) these pictures are from our first trip. The last trip we went the water was much higher and there was a lot of water going over the falls. Couldron Linn is known for its water fall its so neat.

Potty Trained!!!

I'm am PROUD to say that my diaper changing days are over!!!! My baby girl is now potty trained and i have to say that she totally rocked the potty training!! I thought for the longest time I was never going to get her potty trained because every time you would even mention going potty or wearing big girl panties she would freak out and scream. So for about 2 weeks she would not leave her diaper on and we were going through so many diapers i thought i was going to go broke. So finally one day i told her if you aren't going to wear your diaper then go get some panties and you are going to to potty in the big girl potty. So she did and that was it!!!! How easy was that!!! She had very few accidents and very rarely has any now and its been 3 weeks now. YAY MADDY!!!!!!!!

My how time flys when you having fun!!! When Gerald and I first started dating Nikki was just turning 7 and she is now 14. Wow 7 that's how old Kenedi will be this year!!! They just grow to fast. Next year she will be in high school and learning how to drive. This year for her birthday she invited some friends over on the weekend and they went to the teen night at party hardy and had a sleep over. Then on the actually day of her birthday we had family over and had yummy cake and ice cream. Notice the cake that somebody messed with (we all know who).

Bob Bear

Bob bear made a visit to our house last night. This little bear is a class room friend in Kenedi's kindergarten class and gets to go home with a different student every night. They bring him home and then they have an assignment to write 2 or 3 sentences of what her and Bob bear did. They then put it in a binder that came home with him and after all the students had a turn taking him home they are making a little book about all of Bob bears visits. She wrote on her paper that Bob bear and her played dress up in her build a bear clothes (notice the outfit in the picture) and that her and Bob bear went and played at grandma's. She was soooo excited to bring this little bear home he never left her sight. The second picture is of the bottom part of her note she brought home with him Gerald and I had to laugh about it.

The girls had their "Just for fun meet" at gymnastics last week and let me tell you they both did AWESOME!!!! They both are learning a lot and enjoy going to class. Gerald wasn't there to take picture's so i attempted and i can not take pictures of them moving so no good pictures this year. Next year Maddy can start so we will have 3 in class yay!!!

The last party we had was my mom's. We had some yummy dinner there also. That's one thing i love about the holidays is all the yummy food. The kids did a little gift exchange and my mom got them a bunch of gifts. The girls had fun opening their presents and playing while we sat around visiting and eating ha ha.

Burton Party

The day after Gerald's mom's party we had his dad's party. We had some yummy lunch again and the kids had fun playing with their cousins again. 2 days in a row yay!!! After we ate and settled down we did a little gift exchange. We all took a movie and we played a little game with them. We ended up with The Grinch cartoon and A Christmas Story which i had never seen.

Oh man it seems like we had party after party this year. I am going to blog them all because there is so many pictures. First we had Gerald's moms party. Instead of the kids exchanging gifts they made some little crafts. The kids all had fun making them thanks to Mike and Robin (Gerald's brother and wife). The girls all had fun playing with their cousins and eating lots of yummy food.

Last night i was sitting at the computer desk and Maddy come running towards me and tripped and fell and hit the bottom of the computer desk chair where the wheels are. Her poor little face is bruised and swollen still today. The poor little thing cried and cried. I felt so bad for her.The top picture was last night and the bottom one is today.

Rock Creek Lights

This has become a "must" every year. We have to go and see the rock creek light. They are soo awesome and there is always something new every year. The girls love it and their favorite part is feeding the camel. We didn't get any good pictures of the camel because the batteries died in the camera but Gerald did get a kiss from the camel.

What a day yesterday was. It was just me and the 2 little girls home so we decided to load up and go over to grandma's house and wrap presents for her, and boy let me tell you how much help I had from Kenedi and Maddy. Then we decided to go to the new cartoon that came out The Princess and the Frog. That movie is so cute. I'm sure we will end up buying that one when it comes out on video. Maddy even sat through the whole movie. She was such a big girl sitting in those big chairs with her popcorn in her lap. Then we headed to my grandma's Christmas bowling party. Kenedi had so much fun bowling and playing with her cousins. She even beat aunt Hailey at bowling!! Santa came and visited us at the bowling alley and when Maddy seen him walk in she ran off and hid. She wouldn't sit on his lap but we did get a picture of her kicking and screaming while i was trying to hold her next to him. Kenedi asked Santa for a Nintendo DS and a game to go with it.

Kenedi had her 6Th birthday last week and is just growing up way to fast. She is getting very tall and is a total tom boy. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home. She is turning into a little lady and is a very sweet little girl. She is always helping out her sister's and she truly has a kind heart. She is so good at sharing with Maddy and is always there for her. I couldn't have asked for a more special little girl who always keeps me on my toes and a smile on my face.

This year her birthday was on a Wednesday and she wanted her friends over so on Wednesday night both grandmas came over and we had cup cakes and ice cream. Then we had her party on Saturday with all her friends. She had so much fun playing with everyone and eating lots of cake and ice cream.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped make her birthday special. We love you so much Kenedi and enjoy watching you grow into a beautiful little girl!!

Tonight as i was sitting here watching my girls play i was thinking to myself how thankful i am to have such wonderful girls, husband, and family. I am so thankful that i have such a caring and loving husband who works hard so that i am able to stay home with the kids and raise them. I am so thankful for everything that he does for our family. We may not have big fancy things but i couldn't be happier. I just want to say thanks to everyone in my life for everything that you have done for our family and a HUGE thanks to my husband for always being there for me and for ALL that you do for our family!!!

Halloween

This year for Halloween Kenedi was a color crayon and Maddy was a bumble bee. Kenedi had lots of fun as always and got lots and lots of candy and several compliments on her costume. It is actually one that my mom made several years ago when we were little. Maddy on the other hand does not enjoy Halloween. She hates the scary mask's and is just terrified. We cant ever walk down the Halloween isle as the stores with out her freaking out. So needless to say i carried her most of the night with her face buried in my shoulder. Nikki was with her mom again this year for Halloween. She dressed as a pirate and came home with lots of candy. I think we are stocked on candy for awhile and i will probably end up throwing most of it away.

OK so i know I've done several post talking about how my baby Maddy is getting so big. But she is. She is no longer sleeping in her crib she sleeps in as she calls it "her big girl bed." It has always been in her room ever since she was born and i had tried a couple times before to try and get her to sleep in it and she had no interest so i didn't make her. So last night she asked to sleep in it and i layed her in there and she went right to sleep. She had her nap there today and is sleeping in it right now as i write this. I cant believe my baby is getting so big. Next is the dreaded potty training that she wants nothing to do with!!

Sugar Cookies

Saturday we went over to my mom's and made some Halloween sugar cookie's my favorite. The girls had lots of fun helping put frosting on and sprinkles and of course eating lots of cookies. We always make sugar cookies for Christmas so we decided that we needed to make some for Halloween too.

Pumpkin Patch

My friend Sarah and i took the kids to the pumpkin patch the other day and of course the kids loved it as always!! Maddy was so funny in this picture she didn't want to sit by her sister's so if i wanted a picture i had to hurry and take it cause she only sat there for a minute and was out of there. They each picked out their own pumpkin's after picking up several. There were just to many decision's. Maddy just wanted one that she could carry and the other girl's all wanted big one's and wanted Nikki to carry them.

Yesterday i was sitting on the couch and could hear the 2 little girls back in the bedroom just giggling away. I love to hear them giggle and play so i just sat there and listened. Pretty soon the noise was coming down the hallway getting closer and closer to me and this is all they were doing. Just hugging each other. All i have to say is I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!!

My poor poor little girl. We found out a couple months ago that she is lactose intolerant. OK i thought i can handle this. No milk, cheese, ice cream stuff like that. Well NO that's not the way it is. She cant eat her favorite homemade mac n cheese, pizza, cheese sticks, sting cheese, the list could go on and on. Well the last week we also found out that she cant even eat chocolate or drink hot chocolate because it all has milk in it. I never even thought of chocolate having milk in it. So needless to say every one's food diet in our house has changed to accommodate our little Maddy and not eat all her favorite food in front of her. She most likely will out grow this but there is also a chance that she wont. We are keeping our fingers crossed and our toes.

So this year the only thing that survived in my garden were the good ol pumpkins!! We have about 5 that is until today i went outside to check the "so called garden" and found a pumpkin vine had grown up the fence and there is a pumpkin now growing on it. So i am like 3 months behind on getting this posted but im doing it now. When we were gone camping in Island Park the mosquito's were terrible up there. We all lived in bug spray!! On the last night sometime during the night Kenedi got bite right below her eye. When she got up the next morning her eye was just a little puffy and we didn't think anything of it. We drove all the way home and the next day when she got out of bed this is what she looked like. She came into my room that morning and says mom i cant open my eye it hurts and when i finally got woke up enough and could see her eye i couldn't believe it. Poor girl im just glad it didn't happen in the middle of our trip and she was miserable the whole time.

The girls and I went to Pocatello with my mom yesterday and we went into Kmart. Well Maddy really loves dora that's all that we watch in our house anymore and when we walked through the door there was this big blown up Dora. I thought Maddy was going to jump out of the cart as she is yelling as loud as she can DORA!!! She's a crazy little girl and i sure hope she grows out of this cause i am starting to go crazy just listening to dora all day.

We went to smith's a couple weeks ago and as we were getting a cart Kenedi noticed that they had these little carts so we had to use one. Of course Maddy had to have one too and oh my she ran into everything including one of the employee's there. So i had to kinda hold the front for her cart and steer it a little which really made her mad because she is very independent. Crazy crazy girl's.

1st tooth

Well my little girl is growing up so fast. She has now lost her first tooth. It was pretty loose and she wanted that thing out of there. So we tried everything. I couldn't pull it out cause her teeth are so tiny i couldn't even get a hold of it. We tied a piece of string around it and tied it to the door knob and Gerald told her she was going to shut the door cause he didn't want her blaming him when it hurt. So when he got it all tied up she slammed the door with no hesitation and the string just slide off and then she was even madder cause she really wanted it out. So my neighbor is a dentist and we walked over the his house and asked him what to do and he sat her down and pulled it right out. She didn't cry or even make a peep and was very glad that it was gone. She was even happier the next morning when she had seen the tooth fairy had came.

Ok so i'm a slacker AGAIN!! 2 weeks ago was the fire dept. bbq and its always fun. We have an awesome dinner and then they play this game called the keg push. They put a keg up on a wire and you use the fire hose to push it. It was so fun i even did it for the first time this year and let me tell you when you get sprayed with one of those hose's it hurts there is a lot of pressure coming out of those things. But it was fun. They have one for the little kids too but they just use a regular garden hose. Kenedi did it last year and loved it. They didn't have it this year cause they couldn't find the stuff or something.

Well the girls have now started school. Nikki is now in the 8th grade and Kenedi is now in kindergarten so she is gone for half the day. Poor Maddy is stuck with me to play with all day and misses her sister's. We have been going on walks up and down our street and lately she has been pushing her baby in the stroller well she decided that she needed to have a seat in the stroller so now its broken. But she still likes to push it around and sit in it. Shes such a cutie!!

So again our hard drive has kicked the bucket. I have now lost count at how many times this has happened in just the last month. We do have a back up thanks to mom and dad that will get us by until we can get a new one. We did find out yesterday that our hard drive is still under warranty and we shall soon have a new one yay!!! But i have no picture's to post. So hopefully soon we can be done with this problem.

On the other hand, do you ever have those day's where you just don't feel like yourself. Well i am having one of those days. I wish we could sometimes shut out the world for a couple hours and not worry about anything. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

We took my little sister up to the city of rocks while she was here and of course i took 2 pictures and the batteries in the camera died so these are the 2 pictures we have. The kids always have fun when we go there. They can just run around and play on the rocks and have fun. It was very hot this day so we didn't do much walking but we still had fun.

I know i have done a post before of Maddy being the biggest mess maker and again i prove my point. This little girl is so sneaky. She snuck into the bathroom and climbed on the sink and thought that the soap was lotion. She had so much on her legs i had to put her in the bath tub. You can't really tell in the picture's but her legs were white! I put her clothes in the washer with no soap and it looked like i had used a half a container of laundry soap because there were so many bubble's. I asked her if she was proud of her self and she looks and me and smiles and says "ya". She's such a cutie!!

Swimming Lesson's

Kenedi has done 2 session's of swim lesson's this summer which is 4 weeks of going to the pool every day and boy was she in heaven. That girl loves to swim. She has done so good this year. She loves swimming on her back and she is really good at it. She had so much fun diving for ring's, playing games, jumping off the diving board and of course learning how to swim. She is sad that i wont let her take any more this summer but 4 weeks is enough for me sitting on the side of the pool.

It was my Maddy Moos 2ND birthday while we were gone camping. We had went to Yellowstone that day and on the way back we stopped in West Yellowstone and had pizza at an awesome pizza place it was so yummy and none of the food we ordered was wasted we ate every last bite it was so good. Then we went and had some ice cream that was also very yummy. When we got back to camp we decided we should at least sing Happy Birthday to her so we took a zebra cake and put 2 candle's in it and sang Happy Birthday to her she thought it was pretty cool and couldn't wait to blow the candle's out. She is starting to talk a little more and her new favorite word is "no no". It's so cute to watch her try and talk.

Yellowstone

I have so many good picture's from Yellowstone it was hard to pick just a few from them all. So i picked some of my favorite's. We saw a lot of elk right off the side of the roads that we got a lot of good picture's of and only saw very few buffalo but they were so far off it was hard to get good picture's of them. We went and saw Old Faithful, lots of of the hot pots and mud pots. We went to Mammoth and saw a lot of neat things I'm not sure what they are called. We did lots of driving and walking and the kids were all trooper's. It was very hot walking around all the hot pots plus it was very hot outside and it made us all exhausted but we had lots of fun. My mom came up one day and went thru Yellowstone with us on the second day we were glad that she came up and went with us. There was one spot we drive up so high in the mountain's there was still snow on the side's of the road. But all in all it was awesome!!!!

Camping

We had sooo much fun on our vacation and its taken me forever to get this done. We went up to Island Park for 7 days and had a blast. We went into Yellowstone for 2 days. Took the kids to feed the fish at John Sack Cabin, the fish were huge!! We went swimming, and went into West Yellowstone and did some shopping and went to the Wolf and Grizzly museum. The kids loved it there. The little kids go to feed the bears. The lock all the bears back in their own little pen things and then the kids all get their own little bucket of food and they go out in the bear habitat and hide food under logs and just where ever. Then the kids come back out and they let the bears out and the kids can watch the bears find the food that they hide. Kenedi loved it!!!

My oh my i feel like a chicken with my head cut off this past couple weeks. I haven't had time to sit down and update. We are doing very good. We had an awesome time on our vacation (picture's to come.) We now have my little sister here from Arizona visiting us for 2 weeks. We are enjoying her company. The little girls just love her. We are loving the warmer weather and getting to play out side more and going boating. Kenedi is doing swimming lesson's again and loving it. She is doing so much better this session and learning lots.

Only Kenedi is alot more chubby then Maddy and Kenedi was so bull legged. I cant believe how much they look a like. Man i cant believe how much Nikki has grown up also. Time flys when your having fun i guess!!

On another note i can not wait to go on vacation Friday. We have been waiting since Jan. for this trip and we all are super excited.

Its a little bit big for her this year but she can ride the one she has now for this summer and next summer this one will be just right.

Not much new going on at our house lately. The girls are enjoying the summer but i'm sure they would like it more if the weather was nice. We haven't been able to spend to much time outside because of all the rain. We have been trying to get ready for our camping trip coming up in a couple weeks and we are all excited to go and cant wait. We also have father's day our anniversary and Maddy's birthday and it seem's like its all within a week. I think we are going to be busy busy the next couple weeks till we leave yay!!! Big purchase

We were big spenders today. During the summer it gets so hot in Kenedi's room because the air conditioner does not get the air to her room so i was telling Gerald just today that we needed to get a ceiling fan for her room. Well we had to run to Wal-mart today and we decided just to go look at them and get some price's well they had the perfect one for her room on clearance for $15 so we couldn't pass that up and she just loved it. Its very colorful and it matches her room perfect.

Road Rage

Miss Kenedi is only 5 years old and im thinking that this girl just might already be having some road rage. We were driving thru town today and as we sit at a stop light and it BARELY turns green she is yelling at the cars in front of us to go. Then she turns to me and says that got them to move huh mom. Or even we have to slow down for a car to turn she's asking me why are we slowing down, what are they doing, they just need to get out of our way. This cant be a good sign of the years to come when SHE is driving.

Madison has never been much of a talker but the last couple of days this little girl has been full of jibberish. We thought maybe she wasn't talking because she was so attached to her binkie but after we took that away she still had no interest in talking. So last night on our way home she was saying anything that we would ask her too and of course today she wont say anything that we want her too but the jibberish. Its so fun to watch her grow and become the cute little girl that she is. She is getting so tall and i cant believe she is almost 2 already.

Boating

Today we got to take the boat out for the first time this year. We didn't get in the water but just had a nice relaxing ride. Maddy was a little scared at first but after a little bit she didn't mind it. Kenedi had a ball she loves going out in the boat she wanted to get on the tube and after driving for a bit and seeing that it was cold just riding in the boat she changed her mind. Her favorite part is going under the bridge. It was a good day the weather was perfect and the kids had lots of fun.

City Of Rocks

We took the girls up to the city of rocks the other night and they all just had a ball. Maddy was just go go go she did as much walking as all of us. She wouldnt let anyone carry her. She even climbed a few rocks and bout gave us all heart attacks. That little girl is not afraid of anything. The weather was perfect and we all had alot of fun.

Preschool Graduation

Kenedi is now a preschool graduate (tear). She is growing up too fast. Her graduation was at the park and it was soooo windy and cold. We had a nice pot luck lunch and then they sang songs and they each got a little diploma and a cap. Her teacher also gave each kid a photo album FULL of pictures through out the year and a bag full of goodies. She is really going to miss her teachers and the school she had so much fun there and really learned alot. I think i am going to miss it too cause she just loved it so much. Next year is Kindergarten ugh i am not looking forward to it at all.

Swimming Day

Today was Kenedi's last day of preschool. She is very sad and wants to go to preschool forever. I do too im not ready for her to start kindergarten. So anyways they had a swimming day at school. The weather was ok it wasn't hot but it wasn't cold. It was cloudy all day. They had 5 swimming pools and all kinds of fun stuff to do. They had one of the big cement trucks deliver warm water to fill all the pools up with which was nice cause the sun wasn't shining. She just had a ball and i was lucky enough to be invited to spend the day with them. Its fun to watch her play with her friends. Her teachers told me today that she is just a sweet girl and well behaved and that they are really going to miss her.

Maddy got to play too but she didn't have a swim suit so she just played in her clothes and had just as much fun as all the other kids.

Another Beautiful Day

Today was another beautiful day!!! We were outside again of course most of the day. I don't get away with telling the girls "no its to cold outside" cause they know better. It got up to at least 90 today and that's a big change from it being like 50 last week it was very warm. We have this spot in between our garage and house that's covered and along the one side there is no cement and the girls just love playing in the dirt. They have their buckets and shovels and just have a ball. The picture isn't very good cause i took it with my cell phone but you can tell they are having fun.

Wonderful Day

The weather was soooo awesome today!!! The girls loved it! They got to play in the water for the first time this year. Maddy loved it, she could get in and out of the pool this year with out falling in or out of the pool. They both giggled and splashed and ran around for hours. It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the kids play and fun. They both were so exhausted that there was no fight at bed time tonight they both crashed. Not that bed time is always a fight they are both very good about going to bed when they are told but there are some nights they just dont want to. I hope we have more days to come like this and no more horrible windy ones but this is Idaho!!

Tumbling Recital

The girls had their tumbling recital last Tuesday and im a little late getting this posted but i guess better late than never right?? They both did an awesome job and we are very proud of them both. I was a little worried about Kenedi because she had never performed in front of a big crowd like that and she did awesome she wasn't even scared at all. She went out there with a big smile on her face and knew exactly what she was suppossed to do. Nikki on the other has performed several times with dance and doing tumbling the last 4 years so it was a breeze for her. They both had dedicated attendance which meant they got to go in for a open gym day at the studio and have fun running around like crazy and enjoying some cotton candy. Now we are done with tumbling till September and i am ready for the break YAY!!!

Feelin Bad

My poor little Maddy Moo. She has been getting an ear infection once a month for the past ugh i dont even know how long. Me personally im getting tired of it cause i feel so bad for her. She just feels horrible and just wants to be held all day. I think yesterday i held her pretty much all day. She is such a happy little girl and that darn eat starts hurting and her whole world is turned upside down. Im starting to think that maybe we are going to have to have tubes put in her ears cause once a month is just horrible.

Pajama Day

Yesterday at Kenedi's school was pajama day. They get to wear their favorite jammies and take their favorite stuffed animal. So she decided to take her build a bear moose's Holly and Mr Moose and since it was jammie day they had to wear their jammie's too. She had so much fun at school, they ate pancakes and had chocolate milk and then they watched a movie and had popcorn. When i picked her up from school that day i asked her what she learned at school and she said nothing mom and it was soooo fun. Gotta love jammie day!!!

Not so friendly visitor

So yesterday afternoon right after the school bus drops all the kids off down our lane I hear this deisel truck with a trailer behind it with cows in it and it stops in front of our house. Which is weird because we live at the end of a dead end road and you see pretty much the same cars go by every day which isnt many. So i told Kenedi to come look at the cows and she wanted to go outside to see them so i told her ok just stay in the yard (our yard it completely fenced in). So she goes outside and i get Maddy up from her nap and take her out there and at the same time our neighbor is telling Kenedi to get in the house. Well turns out that a cow got lose from the animal clinic which is just across the road and it was a very spooked and not so happy cow. It sat there behind our house for four hours having a stare down with the owner and the cops. It was kinda funny to watch. In the mean time they are waiting for someone to get there to tranquilize it and it runs into the neighbors yard. After 4 hours of sitting here staring at a cow they got it sleepy and loaded on the trailer we found out that this cow the owner breeds it with PBR bulls and the last two calfs that it had he made $10,000 a peice on. I think i could sit and stare at my cow that long to if it was making me that kind of money.

Roller Skating

Saturday we got to take the the girls roller skating for their cousin Aubree's birthday party. The girls love going and of course guess who didnt bring the camera ME!!!! So these are the only pictures that we got off Gerald's cell phone of them having cake and ice cream. We took Kenedi skating for her 3rd birthday and it seems like at least once a year someone is having a birthday party there now. They have a little room where you can go and have cake and ice cream and open presents and get away for from the crowd and its cheap. The kids had a fun day skating and playing with their cousins and getting out of the house cause of course the weather is horrible again and it even snowed today!! Im so ready for summer!!!

YAY!!! No more training wheels for Kenedi!! It was a fight to take them off but i knew that she could do it. She would ride up and down the road here without them even touching the ground so i told her i was taking them off. So she got mad at me and told me she was never riding her bike again. Well i made her go out to the road and i helped her take off and that was it i had to chase her down the road and she had the biggest smile on her face. I couldnt get a good picture of her cause i was trying to take it with my phone and she was going to fast but you can see her. Yay im so proud of her!!

Dirty Face

So i was just sitting her looking at all my pictures and realized that Maddy has a dirty face in just about every picture. At first i thought man i am a horrible mom and never wash my kids face. And then i thought no thats not true i feel like i am always washing her face. But anyways who care she is still so cute dirty face and all. I love this picture of her and I. She insisted this day that i wear her coat so i did.

Today was another beautiful day. We went to my moms again and helped her with more yard work then came home and mowed our lawn and cleaned up a bit. Kenedi and Maddy got sunburned and i feel horrible. I didnt even think to put sunscreen on them but i will know for tomorrow cause it supposed to be nice too. They are just loving getting out of the house and just running around with out me saying quit running around in the house cause we arent in the house yay!!
